- The shirts coming off the drier belt are the orange lines.
- They enter the jaws, triggering the electric eye in one set of pincher fingers.
- The moving part at the far left is the "hold down" so only one shirt comes off.
- The machine flips and deposits the shirt onto it's frame as it returns to standby.
If you are not a printer you might wonder: what's up with the drier belt conveyor thing? We have to run the printed image area under heating elements on a conveyor belt to cure the ink. Typical garment printing inks known as Plastisol Inks require this type of apparatus for proper ink curing. The inks must reach a temperature of about 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 30 seconds before they can cool to a solid.
